Bolivia Unlimited is an organisation founded in 2010, which aims to strengthen ties between Bolivia and the English-speaking world through immersive work experience programmes geared towards media production and teaching Spanish.
Over the past nine years, Bolivian Express Magazine has become Bolivia’s foremost English-language publication, distributed in print for free across the country, and online for the rest of the world. Over 150 people from around the world have already taken part in BX Unlimited programmes, and in May 2015 we celebrated the publication of our monumental 50th issue.
BX Doc Unit is a tailored programme run by Bolivia Unlimited aimed at providing trainees with the essential skills to carry out short documentary production in the country. It includes training in Spanish, filming and video-editing skills focused on the creation of short documentary clips.
BX Spanish was created to cater for the growing demand of learning Spanish in La Paz by applicants outside of our journalism and video documentary training programmes. We have over 5 years in organising residential programmes for foreigners. BX Spanish offers an opportunity to learn Spanish while being connected to a vibrant organisation which serves as a platform for cultural experiences outside of the mainstream
